Call for Application: PhD Scholarship in Japan of KEK Scholarship

KEK currently invites international students to KEK scholarship pursuing PhD program. Up to 90,000 yean will be awarded for the successful applicants as a monthly stipent. To be considered in KEK scholarship, you must be enrolled the  3-year doctoral course at the Department of Accelerator Science, the Department of Materials Structure Science and the Department of Particle and Nuclear Physics.

Program Description
KEK provide a scholarship of 90,000 yen per month to privately financed international students enrolled in 3-year doctoral course (the Department of Accelerator Science, the Department of Materials Structure Science and the Department of Particle and Nuclear Physics) at the School of High Energy Accelerator Science of the Graduate University for Advanced Studies in order to support their studies.

Award Amount
Up to 90,000 yen per month.

Eligibility and Requirements

KEK scholarship is available for applicants fulfilling the following criteria:

• Privately financed international students* who enters the  3-year doctoral course (the Department of Accelerator Science, the Department of Materials Structure Science and the Department of Particle and Nuclear Physics) at the School of High Energy Accelerator Science of the Graduate University for Advanced Studies.
  Applicants’ Citizenship
  International students are welcomed to apply KEK scholarship
  Level and Area of Studies
  Doctoral or PhD program in science – related fields.
  Place of Studies
  The program will be conducted in Japan
  Application Procedure
  All of the following documents must be submitted before the deadline
• Completed application form
• Certificate of graduation and transcript
• Recommendation letters
• Your past research work and activities
• Summary of your graduation thesis
• Field of Study and Study program
• Proof of Nationality
